What is "wiki lawyering"?

When an administrator or an editor liked by the administrators cites policy, it's considered valid. When an unwanted user cites policy, it's "Wikilawyering" or "bludgeoning", regardless of the validity of the arguments, so it can be dismissed and tossed down the moat.

Inconsistently applied policy

Wikipedia deletion policy states subjects have no say on the deletions of their own articles.^[ref] As so often on Wikipedia, policy is not applied consistently, making it pointless.
